Meet the Company!!

Janelle Williams is a native of Charlotte, NC. She began dancing with a liturgical group called Anointed Flow N Dance, thereafter studying dance at Charlotte Ballet Reach under the direction of April Berry and majored in Dance at the performing arts high school Northwest School of The Arts. Janelle has performed in the Charlotte Ballet Nutcracker along and is active in many community outreach engagements. This is her first year with Ballet Noir Studios.

Jessicka Tucker is a native of Newport, VA and currently resides in Charlotte, NC. Jessicka began her technical training in dance at the age of 16. While in college, she joined the Middle Tennessee State University Dance Theatre Company where she received her BBA in Business Administration. Alongside her dancing career she runs an online fashion retailer called JBY by J-Tuck! When not dancing, she enjoys learning other languages and competing in pageants. This is Jessicka's first year with BNS.

Maya Laster is a native of Jacksonville, FL where she began dancing at age 3. She is trained in ballet, liturgical, tap, jazz and more! Maya relocated to CLT, where she began training at Precisions Dance Center. While studying at Shaw University she was an active member of the Diamond Sensation Dance Team. She is currently pursuing a professional career in dance alongside teaching K-12. She has danced for the Charlotte Thunder football team, CRDT, etc. This is her first season with BNS.
